GRL is looking for a Trainee Community Music Leader

40 days between June and November 2022 | £15/hour

We are looking for a Trainee Community Music Leader aged 18-30 to join our team for a 5-month supported work placement. This role will be supported by our Creative Director and will provide an opportunity to develop music-leading practice, learn about the process of designing and delivering music programmes, work directly with young people and their families, and build networking skills, knowledge and capacity to develop their future career.

The role will include mentoring, shadowing, training, on-the-job experience and the opportunity to lead their own projects. Through this role we aim to create additional space for youth voice within the GRL leadership team.

This role is funded by Youth Music.
